About us

FanAI’s leadership team has monetized big data for some of the world’s most successful companies, including Google, Facebook and dunnhumby. We’ve built data platforms to provide insights for some of the biggest sponsors and brands in sport and entertainment and are obsessed with consumer behavior.

We come from a range of eclectic backgrounds ranging from quantum physics, marketing, management consulting and technology – but we all share a combined passion for data, sports and entertainment. FanAI was founded by Johannes Waldstein and Dieter Neujahr in 2016 after the pair identified a need for brands to demonstrate the actual retail return on their sponsorship investments and to understand how to better drive sales through spend.

Their passion for understanding consumer purchase behavior saw them develop the initial concept for FanAI and they identified sports marketing as a sector their innovative technology could transform. By integrating proprietary purchase data streams and audience data, FanAI offers brands the ability to measure, maximize and monetize sports marketing performance.

We’ve forged successful partnerships with two of the world’s leading brands who use our technology to optimize their investments and prove their sponsorship strategies are maximizing their return on their advertising spend.
